16500 is the Bay Area’s exclusive representative for some of the world’s leading architectural, commercial, institutional, and industrial lighting manufacturers. 16500 wanted to redesign their website to act as both an educational resource for users wanting to learn more about and purchase lighting products for their projects as well as a marketing piece to attract additional prospects and manufacturers.
Flickerbox worked with 16500 to streamline existing content and to re-architect the site’s user interface and Information Architecture. The site’s visual content was expanded through the inclusion of product and project photography on both the new Projects section as well as Featured Manufacturer promotions that were included on many pages throughout the site. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the redesigned 16500 site is the dynamic Product Search drop-down boxes that allow visitors to browse by types of lighting or controls.
